MY MISSION:
As an avid film watcher with no proper training in film, what I know is solely from watching movies. That, and spending countless hours on IMDB. I've seen over 1500 movies and try to thoughtfully consider each one. This is my reason for blogging. Even if no one reads it, writing about films helps to sort out my thoughts. Also, contributing my thoughts will hopefully make me feel more that my hours watching great movies weren't spent in vain.

My main goal in writing this blog is to share my opinion, but to never deter anyone from seeing a film they want to see. I am well aware that not all "great" movies are great to everyone, and not all "bad" movies are bad to everyone. I have been turned off from too many films that weren't well-received only to discover them later and love them myself.

My mission is to write a little about each film I see, focusing mostly on ones currently in theaters, while discussing what I think are their strengths and weaknesses. I intend to contribute my opinion, while also trying to enlighten readers on facts about filmmakers, such as their filmographies, so they might see patterns and ideas they didn't see before. I do not claim to be an authority, but merely a reflector and contributor of thought and opinion.

I love movies of all kinds from all eras at all times of the day, though I try not to waste my time on movies I think will suck. Enjoy my blog!
